		January 1, 2012 at 10:17pm New "REDEMPTION Shayia's Adventures ~ Book Two" Released!
	Children love adventure (as do adults). This second book of the series is filled with nonstop action and adventure. It's almost like an amusement park ride. There are twists and turns you will never see coming. In Redemption, Shayia's quest is to stop Izahrik's apprentice, Jolon. Unfortunately it is not as easy as it would seem for Shayia's greatest obstacle is himself. We have all been there and can relate to how he feels. Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom before we can see the "light" - Jesus. During the writing process, I spent a lot of time in prayer. This story was not given to me in a dream like book one. It came slowly as it was a time where I, along with my sister and brother, needed to care for our father, who suffered back-to-back strokes. Through this time the Lord was preparing my heart. After Redemption was written and set aside, the Lord told me to write a message to young readers about sharing the Good News and bullying. To be honest, I did not realize how big the issue of bullying was until I began seeing heartbreaking stories, one after the other. It needs to stop. We, as adults (parents, schools, caregivers, etc.), need to help our children successfully walk through this issue. The best stories sweep the reader into the character's life - the good and the bad. Redemption will have young readers NEEDING to turn the page to see what happens next. Will Shayia lose the Sword of Light? You will have to read it to find out!!

		P3 Publishing Division The Sword of Light ~ Book One

	Shayia is a young man with something to prove. Trying desperately to live up to the memory of his father, a great warrior and hero, Shayia works hard to learn the art of battle. Under the tutelage of his Grandfather Ennus Shayia trains daily not only with his sword but also in the knowledge of the Sacred Book. At his Grandfather's insistence Shayia studies the words of the Creator but struggles to understand their importance when his strength and skill seem to be all he will ever need. Soon Shayia will be put to the test and the safety of the women and children of Sedona will depend on him. When the dark force that killed his father once again returns to threaten the peaceful village Shayia will have to face his sworn enemy, the sorcerer Izahrik and the evil Draga he commands. Armed with his father's magnificent sword he sets out on a journey that will change him forever. Will revenge and hatred consume him or will Shayia learn the secret to true victory?
